This is not a new concept. There is some evidence of that YHWH was a sky god back in Judaism's polytheist past.
It is a pretty common mythological concept that the sky god inpregantates the earth goddess therefore creating the cosmos.
Despite the theological changes to The Word and the Body of the Church, the concept is the same.
